MECHANIC

Mechanic is responsible to inspection of Vehicle assembling of mechanical components and conducting repairs with the proper coordination with Seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting vehicle, engines and transmissions by running diagnostic tests to discover issues.
- Building and assembling machines or mechanical components of the vehicles used in the worksite.
- Repairing the vehicles on the order of superiors and reporting back after completion of work.
- Learning and sharing new ideas on how to improve job efficiency within the department.
- Teaching new methods to work on for subordinates and assessing their work performances regularly.
- Cleaning and applying lubricants to vehicles components while replenishing fluids and components of vehicles.
- Asking for consultations from superiors if the tasks are incomplete and creating a team with high morale to complete it.
- Keeping a log of works progressed and compiling the events to conclude it in a report.
- Reviewing work orders, specifications, diagrams and drawings to determine materials needed and assembly instructions.
- Attending to another worksite for a set period of time to complete a work-related function.
- Assessing the current conditions of the vehicles used in the work process and maintaining the vehicle for long-run.
- Discarding scrap metals appropriately and reporting to the Seniors on how the metals was discarded.
Qualifications:
- Minimum – Advanced Level
- Minimum – 2 years’ experience in a related field.
- Computer skills.
- Know-how of industrial work, control panel and switch board.
- Working under stressful situations.
- Able to work long hours and a team player.
