Scaffolding Supervisor

The Scaffolding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures to meet project specifications and safety standards. This role ensures strict compliance with height safety regulations and coordinates closely with other departments to maintain a safe and efficient workflow on-site.

Responsibilities:

Scaffolding Operations and Safety Compliance

  • Supervise scaffolding setup, inspection, and dismantling according to project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with height safety regulations and industry standards at all stages of scaffolding operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify the structural safety and stability of all scaffolding.

Safety and Risk Management

  • Implement and monitor compliance with safety standards, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Conduct site safety briefings and ensure team adherence to all height and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all personnel follow safety procedures.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of scaffolding activities, inspections, and safety compliance.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on scaffolding operations, safety performance, and any incidents or safety concerns.
  • Ensure documentation is aligned with organizational standards and accessible for internal audits.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations departments to coordinate scaffolding activities with other project operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure alignment on priorities and project goals.
  • Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and key performance indicators as set by Villa Hakatha Pvt Ltd

Education:

Diploma In Mechanical or Civil Engineering OR 

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years in scaffolding supervision.

Key Performance Indicators:

Safety 

  • Accidents: Number of accidents or injuries. 
  • Safety Violations: Number of times safety rules are broken. 

Efficiency 

  • Project Delays: Number of days a project is delayed. 
  • Material Waste: Amount of material wasted during the process. 

Quality 

  • Rework: Number of times work needs to be redone.
