We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our Fireline Pipeline Replacement Project at the Thilafushi Industrial Complex. The Fabricator will be responsible for creating, assembling, and repairing metal structures, components, and frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Fabricators Operation
Shape and form metal components using bending, rolling, or pressing machines.
Assemble components by welding, bolting, or riveting as specified in the design
Ensure all parts are aligned and secured correctly before final assembly.
General Support
Provide support to team members by coordination with the welders with various tasks as directed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
Follow instructions from supervisors to contribute effectively to team activities.
Safety and Compliance
Adhere to all basic safety practices and protocols in the workplace.
Ensure proper use of PPE and support team members in maintaining a safe work environment.
Report any safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Qualifications:
Certificate in Metal Fabrication
Basic training in steel fabrication and welding.
3 to 5 years of experience as a Pipe Fabricator.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifically piping drawings.
