Laminator

We are seeking experienced Fiberglass Laminators to work on boat components, including spoilers, decks, and other related parts.

Responsibilities:

• Roll and mold fiberglass onto molds to create boat parts such as spoilers and decks.
• Cut and prepare fiberglass materials for different departments.
• Build small fiberglass parts and structures for various boat components.
• Ensure quality and precision in fiberglass layups and laminations.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of FRP materials.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) materials, including mixing chemicals according to standard ratios.

• Certificate or formal training in fiberglass lamination.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Laminator in a fiberglass boatyard.

• Ability to delegate tasks and efficiently manage work assignments.

• Familiarity with safety practices when working with fiberglass and chemicals.
