Assistant Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company objectives. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Implement preventive maintenance systems effectively
• Monitor breakdowns and other repair activities
• Maintain the status of testing, inspection, and certification of machinery as appropriate
• Keep records, reports, and other documentation up to date
• Organize periodic meetings and maintain records
• Ensure the availability of spare parts and other materials
• Coordinate with OEMs and other external parties as necessary

Qualifications:

• A diploma or equivalent at the level of NVQ-4 or higher in mechanical engineering
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in machinery maintenance, including at least 3 years at the executive level
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance systems and the maintenance of reports and records
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and running repairs
• Knowledge and experience with mobile cranes, industrial machinery, and the gas and oil industry will be advantageous
