Project Manager - Blasting and Painting

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Project Manager with expertise in grit blasting and painting to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects involving the blasting and painting of steel structures. This role requires strong leadership, a focus on quality control, and the ability to manage resources and timelines effectively to ensure successful project completion.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall project, ensuring timely execution and adherence to company standards.
• Plan and schedule the project according to company requirements and operational constraints.
• Estimate and procure machinery, equipment, materials, and consumables.
• Implement the plan effectively, managing safety and quality control aspects.
• Maintain project quality, ensuring it aligns with objectives and requirements.
• Track and maintain comprehensive records and reports related to the project.
• Prepare and submit periodic and special reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Suitable level of education related to the industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in grit blasting and painting steel structures, with at least 3 years at a project manager level.
• Expert knowledge in the grit blasting and painting of steel structures.
• Proficient in scheduling and implementing grit blasting and painting projects.
• Experience working with fuel tanks and cement silos is an added advantage.
