Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This position requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing high-quality vehicle services.

Position responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles, including cars, trucks, and other machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid replacements.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn-out components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly and performance standards are met.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair work, including parts and labor costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and techniques.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs.
• Ensure that tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, engines, and components.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
