Automobile Technician

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automobile Technician to join our service team. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical problems in light and heavy vehicles such as excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts and cranes.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid inspections.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and computer-based systems to identify issues.
• Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, air conditioning, and suspension systems.
• Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle performance after repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs completed.
• Adhere to safety procedures, guidelines, and company protocols.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized.
• Provide professional advice to customers on vehicle care and recommended services.
• Stay updated on industry developments and new technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certification in automotive technology or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an automobile technician or mechanic (minimum 2-3 years).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, drivetrain, electrical, fuel, brakes, HVAC).
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand tools effectively.
• Understanding of manufacturer service manuals and repair procedures.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for lifting and working in awkward positions.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
