Plaster and Skim Coat Applicator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plaster and Skim Coat Applicator to deliver high-quality wall and ceiling finishes across project sites. The role ensures smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing surfaces while adhering to project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Apply plaster and skim coat finishes on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces according to design specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and repairing defects prior to application.
• Mix plaster and skim coat materials to achieve consistent quality and texture.
• Ensure precise application to achieve smooth, uniform, and defect-free finishes.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of works.
• Conduct inspections during and after application to maintain quality standards.
• Follow HSE policies and procedures to ensure safe working practices.
• Maintain records of materials used, daily work progress, and completed tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or certification in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plastering and skim coat application in construction projects.
• Knowledge of various plastering materials, techniques, and finishing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, aesthetic sense, and finishing skills.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
