We are seeking skilled Hydraulic Mechanics to maintain and repair hydraulic systems on piling hammers, rigs, and related heavy equipment. The role specializes in hose and valve repair, hydraulic system diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of hydraulic systems on piling hammers, rigs, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Inspect and repair hydraulic hoses, valves, pumps, motors, and cylinders.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failures.
  • Monitor and adjust hydraulic pressures, accumulators, and flow rates as per operational requirements.
  • Support hammer calibration and ensure hydraulic systems are functioning to specification.
  • Maintain service records, diagnostic logs, and repair reports.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards when handling hydraulic components and pressurized systems.
  • Coordinate with operators, hammer technicians, and site supervisors to ensure minimal disruption to piling operations.
  • Keep hydraulic workshop tools, spares, and equipment in good condition and properly organized.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hydraulic maintenance, preferably in piling, heavy equipment, or construction machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, valves, hoses, pumps, and system diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in using hydraulic testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in site conditions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to HSE standards and safe working practices.
