Captain – Landing Craft

We are looking for an experienced Landing Craft Captain to safely operate and manage landing craft vessels. The captain will be responsible for navigation, cargo transport between islands, supervising crew members, and ensuring all safety and maritime regulations are followed.

 Key Responsibilities

• Safely navigate and operate landing craft vessels
• Ensure full compliance with maritime safety regulations and company procedures
• Supervise and manage crew members and onboard operations
• Coordinate loading and unloading of cargo, vehicles, and materials
• Maintain vessel logs, fuel records, and maintenance schedules
• Conduct regular safety drills and safety inspections
• Monitor weather conditions and planning
• Ensure the vessel is properly maintained, clean, and operational

Requirements

• Valid Boat Driving License
• Completed NIYAMI certification
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating landing craft or similar vessels
• Knowledge of Maldivian atolls and navigation routes
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Physically and medically fit for marine duties
