Accounts Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer to join our team. The Accounts Officer is responsible for updating and maintaining the AR, while giving full support to run the daily operations at Villa Trading Corporate Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner based on approved sales orders and delivery records.
• Maintain and update the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Monitor customer balances and aging reports, following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate variances between statements and payments received.
• Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly receivables aging reports to management.
• Record incoming payments (cash, bank transfers, Cheques) and allocate them correctly to customer accounts.
• Assist in credit control by reviewing customer credit limits and flagging high-risk accounts.
• Support audit processes by maintaining proper documentation and records of invoices, receipts, and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures, internal controls, and reporting timelines.
• Follow and adhere to all policies, procedures and key performance indicators and targets endorsed by Villa Trading Pvt Ltd.

Requirements:

• Minimum - Diploma or Degree in a related field.
• Minimum - 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
